NSW: Evacuees allowed back home on north coast

SYDNEY, Jan 13 AAP - About 40 people who fled from bushfires on the NSW north coasthave now returned to their homes.

The residents had evacuated from an area between Dorrigo and Coffs Harbour, to escapeone of two outbreaks blazing out of control today.

A sawmill and shed in the area were destroyed by the fire overnight.

NSW Rural Fire Service spokesman Cameron Wade said the residents returned this morningand no homes were currently under threat by the blazes around Coffs Harbour and Grafton.
