TILAPIA TIME

No Name is known for its steaks but we think its new frozen boneless, skinless tilapia fillets deserve some attention. We broiled a fillet and savored the delectable seasonings (including garlic and paprika) that complement this mild, tender fish. The fillets are individually wrapped, making them very convenient for smaller households. A box of five 5-ounce fillets costs $17 at supermarkets.

HOLD THE MESS

This nifty Utensil Pot Clip from Trudeau snaps onto the rims of stockpots and saucepans to keep messy spoons in their place: The food drips back into the pan where it belongs, not on the counter. FLAT-OUT TASTY

OK, "flattened pretzels" don't sound so appealing. But Pretzel Crisps from The Snack Factory delighted tasters with their tiny size and great flavor. The flat shape lets you spread toppings on them, but we thought they were great on their own, particularly the original flavor. The roasted garlic pretzels were too pronounced for our taste buds, but the "everything" flavor earned fans with its flurry of herbs. A 6-ounce bag costs about $3.20 at various retailers.
